About ReSocial
Hi, I’m Monia!
I’m a licensed clinical mental health therapist, and ReSocial was inspired by a friendship of my own that began unexpectedly at work and made me realize how much adult friendships matter.
Through moving, life transitions, and working closely with people navigating loneliness, dating burnout, and friendship gaps, I kept seeing the same thing over and over. As adults, we are craving deeper connection, yet there are very few spaces intentionally designed to help it grow or to give us the tools to create that for ourselves.
Real Connection ✷ Real Community ✷
Real Connection ✷ Real Community ✷
In my work, the request for this kind of community shows up constantly—
And in my own life, I have felt that longing too. We are looking for friends we can celebrate with, rely on, and build history alongside, yet so often the structure to create that feels missing.
On my nightly walks, I’m always reminded by a group of older neighbors who walk together every evening that no matter what age or stage of life we’re in, friendships are such an important part of life. Every time I say hello and talk with them, I can see the connection between them, and there’s something so special about that.
I created ReSocial as a response to that gap
This is not a therapy group, and it is not just another social event. It is a space to practice friendships in real life through shared experiences, guided conversations, play, movement, food, and continued connection. We explore themes around maintaining friendships, navigating hard conversations, showing up consistently, and building relationships that can actually last.
Connection does not grow through convenience. It grows through presence, repetition, and a willingness to show up even when it feels a little vulnerable.
ReSocial is
that Space
Connection shouldn’t feel impossible. Friendship shouldn’t feel accidental. Let’s make socializing human again.
